News from FY2008-Q4
2008 Fiscal Year End
Posted by eleitner on September 1, 2008
Overall revenue and profits for FY2008 are expected to be down from FY2007 figures due in great part to the building of the new training facility and the change in focus for the company. FY2009 is already showing signs of being a record revenue year, and there are no capital expenses required or predicted for the new year. Variable costs for training sessions are low, and ÆSIR is expected to surpass all previous earnings records.
Open Doors Events a Great Success
Posted by eleitner on September 1, 2008
While attendance at the seven events ranged from sparse to a full-house depending on the subject matter being presented, the Open Doors events generated several new contracts for the fall training season for ÆSIR's ATC. More generally speaking, the marketing to all registered Autodesk clients on ÆSIR's behalf was seen as a great benefit. ÆSIR will undoubtedly participate in next year's events.
Outdoor Signage
Posted by eleitner on August 1, 2008
Vinyl signage was applied to nine of the south facing windows at the ÆSIR offices on the second and third floors in August. This signage will not only provide additional advertising for ÆSIR, but is also meant to make finding our facilities easier for clients who have signed up for training. Special thanks to Lundon Calling Visual Communications Consultants Inc. for their assistance with the signage.
Training Room Upgrade
Posted by eleitner on August 1, 2008
The ATC training room at Southvale received a LCD projector upgrade in August in preparation for the extremely large volume of training booked for September and October. The new system projects better than HDTV quality with 2700 lumens of brightness on a diagonal of more than 96 inches, generating excellent visibility from any point in the training room.
Fall Bookings Are Up
Posted by eleitner on July 1, 2008
August saw a large increase in quote requests for the fall training season. The number of different clients seeking training is highly diversified, making these bookings more predictable than an equivalent volume with fewer but larger clients.
Open Doors Events
Posted by eleitner on July 1, 2008
ÆSIR has scheduled a series of seven Open Doors events in conjunction with Autodesk in the months of August and September. The subjects of these hands-on sessions will include AutoCAD, Revit, MEP, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Inventor and Customization. The events are free to ÆSIR clients and AUGI Members.
